Veterans Memorial Park has become the place in Hillsborough County to visit and to pay tribute to military heroes as well as many military family and friends. Hundreds of individual and organization memorials are located throughout the memorial plazas of the park.
Most of these memorials were placed during the construction of each of the memorial plazas which ended with the dedication of the Iraq Memorial in 2016. In the meantime, many more individual memorials have been added to some of the memorial plazas to continue to honor family and friends as well as organizations who are part of the veteran community in Hillsborough County.
Hillsborough County Veterans Community Service Department in partnership with the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County, Inc. decided to continue to place new individual memorials at various memorial plazas throughout the park grounds.
Individual and organization memorial options that are available are clay bricks, black granite plaques and black granite benches.
Application forms for each of the items above with specific colors available, where the items can be placed and prices for each of the items are provided below. Please Note: Private funds collected by the Veterans Council of Hillsborough County, Inc. are for the sole purpose of purchasing and installing the requested item at Veterans Memorial Park and Rear Admiral Leroy Collins, Jr. Veterans Museum.
Prices are listed on each of the forms on the following pages of the brochure. Prices include the cost of the brick or plaque and installation by a professional company familiar with these items and the location of the plaza selected for the item installation.
Brick and plaque applications require pre-payment for the amount listed on the appropriate application form.

Requesting a Bench requires Memorial Committee review to determine cost, location and final approval by county officials. Complete the attached Bench application form and mail it to the address above. A member of the Memorial Committee will contact you to finalize the transaction. Prices for the approved type benches start at $3500.00.
You should receive a call or email from a Team Member who will review your application with you and explain the timing, ordering, installing and notification process.
